RJM 5.0L EFI Harness Compatibility List

First you need to have the correct computer. Every computer has a main sticker on the 60-pin connector that identifies the computer. The best computers are 1988-93 Mustang mass air: A9L / A3M / A3M1 / S0Z / D3D1 / A9S / 8LD / A9P / C3W / C3W1 / A9M / A9T / 8LF / 8LG.
The 1993 Cobra computer X3Z will work, but it has some driveability quirks and needs a special MAF sensor.
1986-91 speed density computers from 5.0L Ford cars will work, but are not ideal for modified engines.
1994-95 Mustang computers will not work.
No truck computers will work.

These are the examples of program codes:

You need to have the correct intake manifold setup. The lower intake needs to have a hole for the Air Temp Sensor just like the top example. If you do not have this, here are some possible solutions:
Option 1
Option 2
Option 3

The upper intake needs to point the throttle body towards the passenger side like below:

RJM harnesses come with the early 1985-93 TPS connector, we can put any of the later TPS connectors on, however this will delay your order a couple weeks.

The distributor needs to have the TFI Ignition Module mounted on the side. If you only have a pigtail coming out of the distributor, you need to get the other style. You can find the correct distributor on 1986-93 Ford cars and Trucks. Make sure the gear is correct for your camshaft.

RJM harnesses come with the 1989-95 MAF connector, we can put the other connectors on, but the MAF sensor must be programmed into the 1989-93 Mustang computer. If you are not using 19lb orange fuel injectors the MAF should be recalibrated or computer reprogrammed.

RJM harnesses come with the early 1989-93 Fox body Mustang connectors, we can install any of the later connectors, however this will delay your order a couple weeks. If you got your fuel injection parts from something other than a 1989-93 Fox body Mustang you'll need to check these connectors as well.
